Power Cables(AWG size:4/0)

Power cables, often referred to as power cords, play a pivotal role in a multitude of residential, commercial, and industrial applications. These applications range from general wiring tasks to the transmission of electricity through a high voltage electrical system. The materials predominantly used in power cords are efficient conductors such as copper, copper alloys, and aluminum.Broadly speaking, power cables come in two types, each with a different purpose: one is designed for transmitting high current, and the other for low current. Furthermore, to safeguard the conductors from environmental factors, an insulation coating is typically applied. A good example of this is the cross-linked polyethylene vinyl sheathed cable, also known as XLPE cables.XLPE cables are extensively used in an array of applications. They are common in residential environments like houses and apartment buildings, commercial structures such as offices, schools, and hospitals, and various industrial settings like research facilities and factories. Their versatility even extends to firefighting equipment, underscoring their reliability and robustness. In terms of low-voltage power supply cables, VVF cables and IV cables are two prime examples. These types of cables are designed for use in applications requiring 600V or less. They are ideal for environments where a lower voltage is both necessary and safer.Among the many types of electrical cables out there, some are made without the inclusion of certain harmful substances such as cadmium, lead, and halogen. These are known as EM cables, standing for "eco-material" wires. These are environmentally friendly and can be beneficial in applications where green solutions are preferred or required.

    MITSUBOSHI (CABLE)

Used not only in mining, industrial, and agricultural applications, but also for mobile electrical equipment and wiring up to 600 V, especially in conditions where oil, weather and/or flame (burning) resistance are required.

    [Features]
    • Uses ethylene propylene rubber insulation for superior electrical characteristics and ozone resistance. In addition, it features excellent resistance to heat, cold and water and allows for a maximum operating temperature of 80°C.
    • Its chloroprene rubber sheathing allows it to withstand harsh conditions such as being subject to abrasion, tension, shock/impact, and stretching/bending, etc. Boasts excellent resistance to oil and weathering effects, while also offering flame retardancy properties.
    • One of the features is that the outer diameter and mass are lower than the 1CT, 2CT and 2RNCT, while also allowing a larger allowable current than other cabtire cables under the same conditions.
