How long is the detection distance of the proximity sensor

The sensing distance of the proximity sensor varies depending on the size and material of the detection object. The sensing distance increases with the shape of the detection object. When the volume reaches a certain value, the sensing distance no longer increases with the shape of the detection object, and becomes a fixed value. Generally, the smallest detection object that reaches a fixed sensing distance is called a standard detection object. Usage Method

No protection is provided around the induction coil, so the distance to be guaranteed between the sensing surface and the mounting surface shall be Y (M5~M8: Y=6 mm, M12: Y=9 mm).
