Adjuster Bolt

Adjusters are parts that use the properties of screws to enable height alignment in tools such as work benches and machine tools. A number of different adjuster types are available, such as the standard adjusting bolt type and mount type. Another example is the swivel-head type, which comes with an angle-adjustment feature that enables level installation of equipment on floors with non-level surfaces or the like. Adjusters are usually made of steel or stainless steel. There are types that also use various other materials such as conductive rubber or non-migrating rubber on the bottom surface to provide properties such as resistance to oil, impacts or vibrations. The proper type for the operating environment should be selected.

Types of Adjuster Bolts

The Adjuster Bolt lineup includes a wide range of configurations to match diverse installation needs:

  • Standard adjusting bolts for general leveling applications
  • Rubber foot type bolts for added vibration control
  • Tapped socket type and anchor bolt mounting type for permanent fixing applications
  • Built-in bearing types to allow smooth adjustment with reduced resistance

These height adjustable bolts are ideal for workbenches, inspection devices, and industrial machinery requiring stability and fine-tuning.

Materials and Durability

Adjusting bolts are available in various materials:

  • Stainless steel and steel for high strength and corrosion resistance
  • Zinc alloy, cast iron for specific application needs
  • Bottoms may include synthetic rubber (EPDM) or plastic elements for improved friction, oil resistance, and shock absorption

This selection allows users to choose the right fitting bolt based on environmental factors such as heat, vibration, and chemical exposure.

Performance Properties

Depending on application requirements, Adjuster Bolts can offer:

  • Oil and chemical resistance for factory floors
  • Heat and impact resistance for high-stress environments
  • Vibration control to prevent instability in sensitive equipment
  • Electrical conductivity in models where anti-static functionality is necessary

Options with rubber screw tips or rubber stand bases provide extra grip and damping on slippery or uneven floors.

Mounting and Adjustment Features

Models vary from basic mounting types to complex Leveling Mounts that include swiveling heads or integrated Adjustment Pads. The rubber bolt base options help protect flooring while maintaining secure support. For uneven surfaces, ankle bolts and fixing bolts allow secure fastening with minimal movement. Many adjuster bolts also include threads for precise alignment adjustments, allowing accurate height leveling across machines or fixtures.
