Adjuster Bolt

Adjusters are parts that use the properties of screws to enable height alignment in tools such as work benches and machine tools. A number of different adjuster types are available, such as the standard adjusting bolt type and mount type. Another example is the swivel-head type, which comes with an angle-adjustment feature that enables level installation of equipment on floors with non-level surfaces or the like. Adjusters are usually made of steel or stainless steel. There are types that also use various other materials such as conductive rubber or non-migrating rubber on the bottom surface to provide properties such as resistance to oil, impacts or vibrations. The proper type for the operating environment should be selected.

Types of Adjuster Bolts

The Adjuster Bolt lineup offers multiple configurations to suit varied installation and leveling requirements:

  • Standard adjusting bolts for general height alignment
  • Rubber foot type bolts to enhance vibration damping and floor grip
  • Tapped socket type and anchor bolt mounting type for semi-permanent or fixed installations
  • Built-in bearing types that allow smoother adjustment with reduced rotational resistance

These height adjustable bolts are commonly used in workbenches, inspection fixtures, and industrial machinery where precise leveling and stability are required.

Materials and Durability

Adjusting bolts are available in a range of material options, including:

  • Steel and stainless steel for strength and corrosion resistance
  • Zinc alloy and cast iron for application-specific requirements
  • Bottom surfaces with synthetic rubber (EPDM) or plastic to improve friction, oil resistance, and shock absorption

This range enables selection of the most suitable fitting bolt based on operating conditions such as vibration, heat, or chemical exposure.

Performance Properties

Depending on application needs, Adjuster Bolts may provide:

  • Oil and chemical resistance for industrial environments
  • Heat and impact resistance in high-load or high-stress conditions
  • Vibration suppression to improve equipment stability
  • Electrical conductivity for applications requiring anti-static performance

Models with rubber screw tips or rubber stand bases offer additional grip and damping on uneven or slippery floors.

Mounting and Adjustment Features

Adjuster Bolt designs range from simple mounting types to advanced Leveling Mounts with swiveling heads or integrated adjustment pads. Rubber bolt base options help protect flooring while ensuring firm support. For uneven or inclined surfaces, ankle bolts and fixing bolts enable secure installation with minimal movement. Precision threads allow fine height adjustments, ensuring accurate leveling across machines and fixtures.
