Pressure sensors and flow sensors are devices that detect the pressure or flow rate of media such as fluids and gases. Pressure sensors usually detect the pressure of a liquid, oil, air, gas or another fluid, and have a mechanism that converts the detected pressure into an electrical quantity. They are sometimes called pressure converters. In contrast, flow sensors use a variety of different measurement methods, so models should be selected to match the fluid type.
