Shelves, Shelf Supports, Shelf Poles

Shelves, shelf supports & shelf poles are the collective term and parts names of storage equipment to place items on shelf boards provided horizontally. Shelves indicate places which hold items on shelf boards provided horizontally. Materials include wood, stainless steel, glass, etc. Shelf supports are fittings for installing and fixing shelf boards directly on the wall, and are L-shaped to be perpendicular to the vertical wall. Their materials are steel, iron, stainless steel, wood, etc., and types are also various, such as those that focus on strength or are highly decorative. Shelf poles are fittings to change positions where shelf supports are mounted, allowing to adjust to the desired widths, depths and heights for the shelves; they are generally called adjustable shelving or Elfa shelving, etc. This shelving system employs the structure to hook the shelf supports to holes or projections provided on the shelf poles at equal intervals in advance. Stainless steel is mainly used for their material, but it is necessary to select an appropriate material from aluminum, steel, resin, etc., depending on load capacity and materials of shelf boards.
