    Busbar

    [Features]
    · A clamp for fixing busbars / grounding bars and electrical wires for integrating neutral wires (N) and grounding wires (PE) on switch gears and control circuits.
    · Also enables easy processing of shield wiring as an EMC measure.
    · Ideal for connecting any number of neutral wires or grounding wires in restricted spaces.
    · For the SSch, wiring is connected with ZB.
    · The ZB can be moved left and right along bars, allowing wires to be connected in any position.
    · The NSch and ESch feature square holes and tap holes at regularly spaced intervals, and wires can be clamped down onto the bar from above with the DS.
    · When doing so, inserting the protruding part of the DS into the square hole increases the support strength for the wires.
    · Although it depends on the size of the wire, up to 70 wires can be connected per 1 m.

      FAQ Terminal Blocks

Question: What is a terminal block?
Answer: A terminal block is a modular, insulated structure used to connect multiple cables. It provides a secure and organized way to terminate wires, preventing short circuits and ensuring safety.
Question: What are the different types of terminal blocks?
Answer: There are several types of terminal blocks, each suited for specific applications:
      • Screw terminal blocks: The most common type, using screws to clamp wires in place.
      • Push-in terminal blocks: Fast and easy to use, requiring no tools for wire insertion.
      • Spring terminal blocks: Similar to push-in blocks, but with a spring mechanism for added security.
      • Disconnect terminal blocks: Allow for easy disconnection of wires without removing cables.
      • Barrier terminal blocks: Provide enhanced insulation between individual terminals.
Question: How do I choose the right terminal block for my application?
Answer: When selecting a terminal block, consider the following factors:
      • Wire size: Ensure the block can accommodate the gauge of your wires.
      • Voltage rating: Choose a block with a voltage rating higher than your system's maximum.
      • Current rating: Select a block capable of handling the maximum current your application requires.
      • Number of terminals: Determine the number of connections needed.
      • Mounting method: Consider the desired mounting style (DIN rail, panel mount, etc.).
      • Environmental conditions: Select a block that can withstand the temperature, humidity, and other factors in your environment.
Question: What is the difference between a terminal block and a connector?
Answer: A terminal block is a permanent fixture designed for connecting wires securely within a control panel or device, while a connector is typically used to join wires temporarily and can be easily disconnected.
Question: Are terminal blocks safe to use?
Answer: Yes, terminal blocks are designed to provide safe and secure electrical connections. Ensure they are installed according to manufacturer guidelines and use the appropriate type for the voltage and current of your system.
Question: What is a DIN rail, and why are terminal blocks mounted on it?
Answer: A DIN rail is a metal rail used for mounting electrical devices. DIN rail terminal blocks are designed for easy installation and organization in control panels, enabling quick connection of multiple wires.
