Pneumatic tools are tools that operate by using the reaction force of compressed air, and they are used as power tools along with electric tools. The major characteristic of pneumatic tools is their light weight, and they are used widely in automobile assembly, automobile repair shops, production lines for home & office electrical appliances, shipbuilding, construction, industrial machinery production sites, etc. Since their power source is air, they do not need motors and generate no heat. Additionally, they can be used safely even at work sites where inflammable materials such as gasoline are used because they do not use electricity and are less likely to produce sparks. Pneumatic tools do not operate by themselves and require separate compressors to make the compressed air that drive them. However, they can be used without concern for the amount of compressed air consumed as their power source.
