For Spool Runner Lock Hole

A sprue / runner lock hole cutter is used for reverse taper machining of sprue locks and runner locks that have been undercut by plastic die machining. They are mainly used by attaching them to milling machines and machining center processing machines. Sprue / runner lock hole cutters are made of materials including carbide and high-speed steel, and the shape of the blade is two-flute straight blade. High-speed steel is tough and hard to break, while carbide is rigid and abrasion-resistant. Processing compatible materials include carbon steel for machine structural use, alloy tool steel and heat-treated steel. When selecting a sprue / runner lock hole cutter, select the blade diameter, single angle, blade length, corner radius and shank diameter, etc. according to the purpose of machining. Select machining conditions according to the cutter base material, blade diameter and work material to enable one-sided machining.
