Stretch wrap machines are devices that wrap stretch wrap around packages on pallets. They are used to stabilize products loaded onto pallets to prevent load collapse, and to prevent precision equipment from taking on scratches, dirt and water, etc. For stand-alone turntable products, a foot switch is used to control table rotation, so both hands can be used freely. For semi-automatic types, there are 2 required manual operations; wrapping and cutting of the stretch wrap. For fully automatic types, the mounted stretch wrap is lifted and lowered while the turntable rotates to perform wrapping, and cutting is also automatic. There are also portable packaging machines equipped with casters, as well as machines that can wrap long shapes or doughnut shaped items. When selecting a stretch wrap machine, select one that corresponds to the dimensions and weight of the products to be packaged, including the pallets.
