Reciprocating Compressors
Reciprocating compressors are a type of compressor that generates power sources by compressing air through the reciprocating motions of pistons inside cylinders. Air is compressed by the reciprocating motions of pistons inside cylinders that have suction valves, which open inward, and discharge valves, which open outward. These compressors have lower power consumption rates than other compressors while being highly efficient and reliable as well as easy to handle, making them the mainstream today. Reciprocating compressors are roughly divided into 2 types: an oil-lubricated type which contains oil mist in compressed air and an oil-free type which does not contain oil mist. Tank-mounted types are the standard while quieter package types are also available. Select a suitable compressor based on the type of compressed air needed by the equipment used, normal operation pressure, amount of air used, required horsepower and other requirements.
