Product features and specifications
Basic specifications and features of the product

Against solid tools
- Cost merit in large diameter machining.
- Time reduction by replacing only the head.
Anti-indexable tool
- Improved productivity due to the merit of the number of blades.
- Flexibility of degree of the cutting edge.
- Reduction of initial cost and running cost.
PXVC blade thick type
- The thick blade type has a larger tool outer diameter than the shank diameter, making it ideal for deep standing wall machining and pocket machining of mold parts.

The R shape of the end face on the shank side prevents streaks from occurring during peck drilling.
- For narrow pocket processing and groove machining
By using coolant and air from the inside, it prevents cutting chips from getting caught. Improves cutting chip discharge.
- For stainless steel and heat resistant alloys
Achieves longer lifespan with stainless steel and heat resistant alloys by improving cooling performance.
Performance/test information
[PXVC]Both machined surface roughness and machining accuracy are better than solid tools
PXVC was able to obtain better machining accuracy and machined surface roughness than solid tools with the same machining efficiency as conventional solid tools.

Precautions for cutting conditions
- (1) Use machines and holders that are rigid and highly accurate.
- (2) Adjust the rotational speed and feed speed according to the usage conditions such as cutting depth and mechanical rigidity.
- (3) If the amount of protrusion is long, chattering is likely to occur, so adjust the rotational speed, feed speed, and cutting depth.
- (4) The cutting conditions should be selected in consideration of the protrusion length of the shank holder (PXMZ) from the end face of the holder plus the overall length of the head (LF).

Cautions/prohibitions
Usage Precautions- Please use the PXM dedicated spanner when attaching the head (commercially available spanners cannot be used).
- Tighten until the end faces of the head and shank holder are attached. Please make sure there are no gaps.
- If you degrease the fastening part, the tightening will become stiff and the end face may not be attached. Please do not degrease.
- Insert the spanner according to the notch in the head, and slowly rotate it in the direction of rotation.
