Basic specifications and features of the product
- A high-resolution electronic balance with a resolution of 1/12,000 to 1/60,000.
It has functions of number of pcs. mode, percentage mode, and comparator. - Includes an LCD display screen with a backlight that allows it to be used in dark areas.
- When using dry cell batteries as the power supply, you can use the balance cordlessly.

- Rectangular pan (127 × 140 mm): EJ-1500B/EJ-2000B/EJ-3000B/EJ-4100B/EJ-6100B.
- The windshield is included as standard with EJ-123 B/EJ-303 B.
- Up to 4 units can be stacked and stored, convenient for storing multiple units (excluding EJ-123 B/EJ-303 B).
- A plastic windshield is sold separately for highly accurate weighing (included with EJ-123 B/EJ-303 B).
- Selectable power supply: AC adapter included. Dry cell batteries (sold separately: AA × 4 pcs.) can also be used in fields and other places where power is not supplied. Battery operating time upon the use of alkaline dry cell batteries: approx. 80 hours (EJ-123 B/EJ-303 B, backlight off), approx. 70 hours (other models, backlight off).
- Comparator display convenient for sorting work: Using the comparator (weight determination) function sorts the product "small; medium; large" and "small (LO); just (OK); large (HI)" (no comparator display function in EJ-123 B/EJ-303 B).
- Large LCD with backlight for easy viewing: The backlight can be selected: always on, always off, and auto off (5, 10, 30, and 60 seconds), depending on the setting. Character height approx. 16 mm.

Cautions/prohibitions
* Turn the foot packing washer to level the scales so that air bubbles enter the red circle of the level.
(1) Do not install the balance in a place where they will be exposed to dust, wind, vibration, severe temperature differences, condensation, or magnetism.
(2) Use a solid scale stand so that the balance is kept horizontal.
(3) Install it in a place away from direct sunlight.
(4) Do not install the balance near an air conditioner or heater.
(5) Use a stable AC power supply.
(6) Do not install it in a place with corrosive gas or flammable gas.
(7) Turn on the power supply 30 minutes before the start of use.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is the difference between the EJ-B series and the EK-i series?:
- The EJ-B series can be used with dry cell batteries (AA × 4 pcs.).
- Communication interface for the EJ-B is sold separately (optional), RS-232C interface (EJ-03JA), and quick USB interface (EJ-02JA).
- The EK-i comes with an RS-232C interface as standard.
