·It is a protective sleeve for a remote thermometer. The manufacturer recommends using a "protective sleeve" in the following cases. (1) When a liquid of 50°C or higher is measured, (2) when the object to be measured may corrode the temperature sensitive part, (3) when pressure is applied to the temperature sensitive part (5 kg/m2 or more, case outer diameter ø75 is 2 kg/m2 or more), and (4) when the object to be measured leaks when the thermometer is removed. It is possible to replace the thermometer without draining the liquid in the boiler, piping, kettle, etc.
