Screw top bottles are multi-purpose bottles commonly used as storage containers for high purity medicines, reagents and standard analysis solutions in biotechnology and other fields.
Made using borosilicate glass-1 equivalent DURAN material (JIS R 3503 [1994]).
A brown screw top bottle (DURAN) which has been dyed brown to ensure a light shielding effect is also available. DURAN is a registered trademark of the German SCHOTT group.

· The bottom of the bottle has been made slightly spherical, decreasing the contact area with the surface beneath.
