ASPURE Antistatic Soft Adhesive Mat (Low Adhesion)

Caution
Product Description
An anti-static mat that suppresses static charge.
[Features]
· Suitable for areas in which static electricity is an issue.
· Suppresses the static electricity which occurs when adhesive film is peeled off.
· It is also suitable for those troubled by the film sticking after being peeled off.
· The tag uses a countdown method in which the number decreases as the film is stripped.
[Applications]
· Uses water soluble adhesive, and can be used in clean rooms.
· Optimal for use in sites with solvents or areas with anti-static countermeasures.

Mechanism Of Static Electricity
Static electricity is generated in everyday situations, but weak voltages at 1 kV or less are almost all unnoticed. However, for production sites, it is also not rare that static electricity that cannot be felt at all by workers can cause defects or work problems. Static electricity damage to electronic components, inferior printing or coating, malfunction of measurement devices, adhesion of foreign objects and other problems that would seem to be unexpected occur frequently.
(Charging potential of the human body) 1.0 kV: (strength of electric shock) not felt at all
(Charging potential of the human body) 2.0 kV: (strength of electric shock) felt on the outside of the fingers but does not hurt
(Charging potential of the human body) 5.0 kV: (strength of electric shock) pain as if being pricked by needles is felt
(Charging potential of the human body) 8.0 kV: (strength of electric shock) numbing feeling is felt from the palms up to the forearms
(Charging potential of the human body) 10.0 kV: (strength of electric shock) pain and a feeling of current flow is felt on the whole hand
(Charging potential of the human body) 12.0 kV: (strength of electric shock) strong feeling of being hit by a strong blow is felt on the entire hand
About The Workings Of Destaticization
What should be done to prevent static electricity and return to a stable production site? When abrasion or peeling occurs, causing static electricity, objects tend to lean towards an electrically positive or negative polarity. This is the charged state. If a charge with the opposite polarity is supplied to the electrically unbalanced object using "air ions", it can be electrically neutralized.
Destaticizers have two methods to turn air molecules into air ions
Light irradiation method: This is a method that uses X-rays that are even weaker than X-rays, which are called soft X-rays. It has a wide range and also allows destaticization even in a windless state, but management facilities and legal reporting are required to use X-rays.
Corona method: This is a method using corona discharge. A method of applying high voltage to pointed-tip needle-like objects, called the voltage impression method, and a method that uses the static electricity of the object one wishes to destaticize, called the autodischarge method, are the methods for causing a corona discharge. Irradiation cannot be carried out like a soft X-ray, but it is often used at production sites because there is no need for facilities or reporting.
