- *1Light is reflected by both surfaces of the glass, and the reflection rate on one side is 4%.
Transparent plate glass has almost no absorption within the glass,
so the reflection rate per piece is approximately 8%. Moreover, the reflection rate increases with oblique incidence. - *2Value measured according to ASTM C338-57
The glass has no clear melting point, and the viscosity decreased continuously with increasing temperature. This figure is the temperature at a viscosity of 4.5 × 107 Poise. - *3Mohs hardness
5: Phosphate, 6: Feldspar, 7: Quartz. - *4Glass is always broken by surface tensile stress.
- *5It is not possible to say that the surface has absolutely no scratches, weathering, etc, but there will be no actual change to the essential qualities of the interior. *The values on the table are general values showing the physical/mechanical properties and do not guarantee the performance of any product.
