Product Description

Hand tap capable of tapping high hardness steel of 55 HRC or higher.
[Features]
· Ultra-fine particle carbide alloy with excellent abrasion resistance and impact resistance is used.
· Improved runout of the entire tap and roundness of the shank.
· Thread processing length is set to "external dimensions × 1.5 or less," and the chamfer is 5P for longer tool life.
· The maximum inner diameter value of 6H female threads is recommended for the pilot hole diameter.
· High-precision thread processing is possible.
[Applications]
· Ideal for tapping [SKD material] [pre-hardened steel] with a hardness of 55–60 (MAX 63) HRC.
