Hand tap used for general thread tapping.
[Features]
· Features high cutting edge strength. Easy regrinding.
· More suitable for manual processing compared to taps of other shapes.
· Three types of chamfer thread per inch are available: 9P, 5P, and 1.5P.
· When processing blind holes manually, it is recommended to use 5P for processing and 1.5P for finishing.
· Processing with a machine is also possible.
· Equipped with straight grooves designed for cutting chip storage.
· Suitable for work materials that produce powdery or finely curled cutting chips.
[Applications]
· Ideal for simple mounting thread machining on thin steel plates such as SPC/SPH and on mild steel such as SS400/S20 or lower
