Compared to when the workpiece comes into direct contact with the abrasive in paper abrasive cloths, the fibers embedded in nylon abrasive agent act as a cushion, preventing excessive snagging of the workpiece. Mainly used for polishing work. No clogging as it has significant autogenous action.
