Cautions/prohibitions
To use the air grinder safely
The following are the minimum required precautions. For details, please use in accordance with the provisions of the Occupational Safety and Health Structural Standards.

Structural rules for grinding machines, etc. (March 8, 1971, Ministry of Labor Notification No. 8, Partly September 30, 1965, Ministry of Labor Notification No. 85)
1. Check the specification display on the air grinder main body and grinding wheel cover. Maximum rotational speed without load, diameter / thickness / hole diameter of grinding wheels that can be used, rotation direction of grinding wheels, maximum peripheral speed of grinding wheels.
2. For grinders with a speed governing device (governor), periodically check the rotational speed to see if it is operating properly to maintain the normal rotational speed, and if there is an abnormality, immediately prohibit the use.
3. Be sure to use the specified flanges and covers for the grinding wheels, check whether the mounting conditions are normal, and prohibit use immediately if there are any abnormalities such as non-specified dimensions, quality defects, wear, or parts shortage.
4. Use grinding wheels of quality and strength that meet the regulations, and prohibit the use of grinding wheels that have abnormalities such as damage or deterioration.
5. Install, replace and test the grinding wheels in a specific safe place with a specific responsible person.
Be sure to perform a test run for 1 minute before the start of grinding work and 3 minutes after replacing the grinding wheels in a specific safe place to check for any abnormalities.
6. Take great care not to exceed the specified rotational speed of the grinder, and do not increase the air pressure used above the specified value to increase the rotational speed.
7. Be sure to properly attach the appropriate grinding wheel cover to the air grinder that uses a grinding wheel with a diameter of 50 mm or more.
8. Never use at a rotational speed higher than the maximum operating speed indicated on the grinding wheel.
9. Do not use the sides of the grinding wheels other than the intended purpose of the grinding wheels.
