This product is a lightning protection power strip with a built-in, high-performance, lightning surge-absorbing element for protecting electrical equipment against lightning surges.
[Features]
・ This product has a built-in high-performance lightning surge absorber (varistor) with a maximum surge voltage of 12,500 V, which is effective in preventing damage to electronic equipment such as personal computers and AV equipment due to lightning.
(Maximum surge voltage 12,500 V is based on JEC210/212 standard. )
・ It has individual switches that can be turned ON/OFF for each connected device and individually save standby power.
・ For the individual switches, diagonal arrangement have been adopted so that the plugs do not interfere with them even when connecting AC adapters or relatively large plugs.
・ This product is equipped with dust guards for preventing the intrusion of dust into the outlets when not in use.This product helps to prevent fires due to tracking phenomena and electric shocks and fires caused by mischief of children.
・ The heat-resistant UF resin is used for the outlet, and it is difficult to melt even if heat is generated, and it is effective in preventing electric fire.
・ Even if the AC adapter is connected, 1 outlet is placed separately so that it will not easily interfere with the adjacent one.
・ An insulation cap is attached to the root of the plug blades to help prevent fire due to tracking phenomenon.
・ As the power cord is a double covered cord that is compliant to the Japan Electrical Wiring System Industries Association Standard (JWDS0010), it is effective in preventing electric shock and fire due to wire breakage and tears.
· Features a 180° swing plug that is easy to use for wiring even in narrow places.
