● Barriers are provided between each contact terminal in the insert to increase the creepage distance between contacts and improve withstand voltage performance.
● Pin inserts and socket inserts can be assembled into either the plug shell or the receptacle shell (except for size 10SL).
●For the D/MS A/B series, when using high voltage or high current, it is recommended to use socket contacts on the output side and pin contacts on the input side to prevent accidents.
● The plug shell has a keyway and the receptacle shell has a key, and by changing the angle, mis-mating can be prevented even when using multiple connectors of the same type side by side.
● The solder cups of the contacts built into the insert are aligned in the same direction, making connection easy.
● The shell surface is treated with RoHS-compliant black zinc trivalent chromate treatment. (MIL-DTL-5015: Cadmium plating with OD color treatment)
●For connectors with 20 or more contacts, the contact insertion/extraction force is set slightly lower within the MIL standard range, making insertion and extraction easy by hand.
