• The blade-receivers for the charger in each outlet are made from deoxidized phosphor bronze, providing better plug-blade retention force and resettability when in contact with a plug.
• The terminals that link with the blade-receivers on the inside are made from a highly conductive copper alloy with excellent electrical characteristics.
• With the exception of the grounding receiver, the surfaces of all charged surfaces are plated with rhodium to improve resistance against corrosion, and are also polished to a mirror finish to prevent oxidation and to have a smooth contact surface.
• The materials for the insulation that is the main body of the outlet are a flame-retardant grade UL94 V-0 nylon resin with added glass fiber, for a more robust product.
• All metal parts (including the plate enclosure) are made from non-magnetic metals.
• Plugs used for power supplies are 7112GNXL hyper plugs. Related power-supply wiring is based on high-grade OFC (oxygen-free copper) wire specifications, frequently used in audio equipment and other applications, modified for additional conductivity and stability.
