· Material with low combustion calories even for plastics that does not generate poisonous halogen gases when burnt.
· Possesses high strength based on Charpy impact testing that is approximately five times the initial strength of general acrylic.
· Can be made thinner than conventional products depending upon the application.
· Petech is self-extinguishing, as opposed to acrylics which are highly flammable.
· Certified for superior flame retardance. Passed the materials combustion test for railroad cars.
· Does not turn white even when cold bent. Punching of thin objects as thin as 1.5 mm possible, whereas such punching is not possible with acrylics.
· Easier to form at low temperatures than acrylics when heated
