    OMRON Micro Switches Format Composition

    Standard form

    General form

    • We have a wide range of actuators to suit your needs, allowing you to choose the one that best suits your application.
    • The contact mechanism for Micro Switches is a crossbar type, and since a gold alloy is used for the contacts, it exhibits extremely high contact reliability in the microload range.
    • Contact spacing is available in H2: 0.20mm (ultra-high sensitivity), H: 0.25mm (high sensitivity, for Micro Switches), G: 0.5mm (standard), E: 1.8mm (high capacity).

    Micro Switches Drip-proof type

    • This Micro Switches has rubber pushers attached to the actuator and adhesive is filled between the case and cover to improve water resistance.
    • We also offer a waterproof terminal with a protective cover and a molded terminal with the terminal part hardened in resin.

    Split contact type

    • Based on the mechanism of a general-purpose basic Micro Switches, the movable and fixed contacts are divided into two, providing two sets of simultaneous contacts.
    • Since the movable contact side is common (COM), it can be used in series or parallel depending on the connection method.
    • When used as a twin contact, high reliability is achieved in Micro Switches range.

    Maintained Contact Type

    • In addition to the Micro Switches, there is a reset button on the bottom of the case opposite the push button. Please operate this button alternately.
    • Generally, the "movement until reset" is greater than the "movement before operation," and they are suitable for use in circuits that must not automatically reset, such as reversible control circuits and manual reset operation circuits.

    How to Use of OMRON Micro Switches

    Mounting Hole Dimensions of OMRON Micro Switches

    Use M4 screws for mounting and securely attach using flat washers, spring washers, etc. The tightening torque should be 1.18 to 1.47 N m.
