Wedge pulley external appearance

Moreover, the 3V ø56/60 (nominal size 56/60 mm), and 5V ø112/118/125/132/140 (nominal size 112/118/125/132/140) work with low edge cog type narrow width V belts
. Compared to regular lapped type belts, low edge cog type belts feature excellent flexibility and a high coefficient of friction. This improves transmission efficiency, and allows a smaller nominal size pulley to be used.
High quality exceeding JIS standards
The highest quality pulley, with materials, machining and balance accuracy exceeding JIS standards (JIS B1855-1991). Guaranteed imbalance tolerance on the outer circumference of 0.1% the pulley mass.

Groove dimensions
The g dimension is set to 0.5 mm as shown in the Section A detail view. Years of research and testing have shown that this decreases wear and breakage, increasing belt service life. For this reason, the outer diameter of the wedge pulley is 1 mm larger

Balance
Imbalance mass allowance on the outer circumference is 0.1% or 1 g of the pulley mass, whichever is larger. At a circumferential speed of 15 m/s, this corresponds to G16 of the JIS B 0905 "Rotating Machines - Balance Quality of Rigid Rotors."
