■ Minimum radius and safety distance for operating key insertion and swing door
When installing the operating key, make sure it is within 1 mm of the center of the operating keyhole. If the operating key is offset from this position or inserted at an angle, it may cause accelerated wear or breakage.
Note: Please follow the specified insertion radius for the operating key and insert it vertically into the keyhole.

| Key installation type | E-MSMD2-K1 | E-MSMD2-K2 |
| A operation key mounting surface | 44-46.5 mm | 40-42.5 mm |
| B operation key mounting surface | 54.5-57 mm | 50.5-53 mm |
| Horizontal direction radius R | ≥ 200 mm | ≥ 200 mm |
| Vertical radius R | ≥ 200 mm | ≥ 200 mm |
■ Mounting holes
· Please use M4 screws and spring washers to install the switch and operating key, and tighten them with the appropriate torque.
· For safety, please use screws that cannot be easily removed or take similar measures to prevent the switch and operating key from being easily removed.
· As shown below, you can use two bolts with a height of 4.8 mm or less and a diameter of 4 mm, inserted into the holes at the bottom of the switch, to enable four-point mounting for a more secure installation.

■ Product structure

It is recommended to use wire sizes of 0.5 to 1.5 mm². Please refer to the above diagram for wire length. The waterproof connector ensures IP67 protection level, and shielding tape can be wrapped around the threaded part.
When using crimp terminals, the total length of the terminal should be within 19 mm, and the thickness should be less than 0.5 mm.
The illustration shows the state when the operation key is inserted.

· When loosening screws using an electric screwdriver or similar tool by pressing the screw head, do not over-loosen the screw to the point where the threads disengage.
· Otherwise, the end of the threads may be damaged.
· Do not use the switch as a stopper. To ensure that the base of the operating key does not touch the switch head, be sure to install the limit stopper as shown below, and adjust the stopper so that the operating key stays within the set area of the base (1–3.5 mm).
· Do not subject the switch to impacts exceeding its shock resistance value (1000 m/s²).

Installation on left-side movable door

· Do not immerse the switch in oil or water, or use the switch in locations where it is continuously exposed to oil or water splashes. Otherwise, oil or water may enter the inside of the switch. (The IP67 protection rating of the switch specifies the amount of water ingress after the switch is immersed in water for a certain period of time.)
· After wiring work is completed, the cover must be installed before using the switch. In addition, do not operate the switch while the cover is open. Otherwise, electric shock may occur.
· When switching a standard load (250 V AC, 3 A), do not operate two or more circuits at the same time. Otherwise, the insulation performance may be reduced.
5. About the operating key
· You must use the designated operating key. The head is designed so that it cannot be operated with a screwdriver or similar tool. Operating the switch with tools other than the designated operating key may damage the switch or compromise the safety of the equipment.
· You must use the designated operating key; using any other key may damage the switch or compromise system safety.
· If excessive force is applied to the tip of the key or if it is dropped while the operating key is inserted into the switch, the key may become deformed or the switch may be damaged.
6. Changing the head orientation
· You can adjust the switch head by loosening the mounting screws at the four corners of the switch head and rotate it in any of the four directions. Please make sure that no foreign objects enter the switch head.
· Do not insert or remove the operation key when the switch head is removed. Otherwise, the operation key may not be able to be inserted.
